Basketball is great out door sport. It involves two team of five members each pitted against each other. The main goal is to try and score points by shooting the ball through the hoops whicc are located at both the ends of the court. Basketball is one of the most revered and loved games around the world. The team with the max number of points in the end of the game wins. The game lasts for about ninety minutes. The ball can be bounced, passed or thrown among team mates. There are fouls generated in the game due to disruptive contact which is more physical and is therefore not permitted in the game. Basketball has developed into a professional game involving strategies and techniques of passing, looping and shopping the ball. It is also highly dependent on players positions. The team is often playing offensive and defensive formations depending on the availability of the ball.
